LEAVE MAMATA – HAVE SAMATA

LEAVE MAMATA – HAVE SAMATA

Baba (to Ramadasi): You are reading pothi. Adhyatma Ramayana, unceasingly. Yet your heart is not pure. You repeat Sahasranama and yet your troubles are not gone. You call yourself a Ramadasi. If you are one, you must be indifferent to all objects. You ought not to have Mamata, attachment, but must have Samata, viewing everything with equal eye. You behave like a boy and fight for your book. Books can be had by the ton for money but not men, i.e. friendship.
