ENJOY ALCOHOL – BUT YOUR HEALTH IS IMPORTANT

 

 

 There is a fine line between healthy drinking and risky drinking. There is some evidence from studies of large populations of people that those who drink moderately may be less likely to develop heart disease than those who do not drink at all. While most people associate drinking with celebration and delight, alcohol intake has its many and various effects that cause health disadvantages to both mind and body. However, drinking alcohol has been linked to high blood pressure, cancer, stroke, suicide, motor vehicle accidents, physical abuse, obesity, heart failure, arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms), pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), and liver disease.
