கடவுள் பக்தி என்றால் என்ன?

பூலோகத்தில் ஒரே தெருவில் ஒரு செருப்பு விற்கும் தொழிலாளியும், ஒரு செல்வந்தரும் இருந்தனர். செருப்புத் தொழிலாளி தினமும் தான் செருப்புக் கடையின் ஓரத்தில் பெருமாள் படம் ஒன்றை வைத்து அதை வணங்கி வந்தான்.

செல்வம் இல்லாவிட்டாலும் சந்தோசமும் மன அமைதியுடனும் இருந்தார். செல்வந்தரோ தினமும் காலையில் குளித்துவிட்டு, பல மணி நேரம் பூஜை புனஸ்காரம் எல்லாம் செய்வார். பல தலைமுறைக்கு காணும் செல்வம் இருந்தும் நிம்மதியின்றி வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்.

ஒரு நாள் நாரத முனிவர் 🎸 விஷ்ணுவைப் பார்த்து "அந்தச் செல்வந்தர் மிகுந்த பக்திமானாக இருக்கிறார்; தினமும் உங்களுக்குப் பல மணி நேரம் பூஜை எல்லாம் செய்கிறார். அவர் நிம்மதியாய் வாழ, ஏதாவது செய்யக்கூடாதா?" என்றார்.

விஷ்ணுவும் அதற்குச் சம்மதித்துவிட்டு நாரதரை பூலோகத்துக்கு அனுப்பினார். போகும்போது நாரதரைப் பார்த்து, "நீங்கள் கீழே சென்று, 'நான் நாரயணனிடமிருந்து வருகிறேன்,' என்று செல்வந்தரரிடம் சொல்லுங்கள்.

அவர் 'தற்பொழுது நாராயணன் என்ன செய்துகொண்டு இருக்கிறார்?' என்று கேட்பார். அதற்கு நீங்கள் 'நாராயணன் தற்போது ஓர் ஊசியின் 📌 காது வழியாக யானையை 🐘 நுழைத்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்' என்று பதில் சொல்லுங்கள்" என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினார்.

"அப்படியே அந்தச் செருப்பு தைக்கும் தொழிலாளியையும் போய்ப் பார்த்துவிட்டு வந்துவிடுங்கள்" என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினார் விஷ்ணு.

நாரதரும் முதலில் அந்தச் செல்வந்தரின் வீட்டுக்கு சென்றர். பூஜை எல்லாம் முடித்துவிட்டு வந்த செல்வந்தர், நாரதரிடம், "நீங்கள் யார்?" என்று கேட்க, நாரதர் தான் நாரயணரிடமிருந்து வருவதாகச் சொல்கிறார்.

அதற்கு அந்தச் செல்வந்தர் "தற்போது நாராயணன் என்ன செய்துகொண்டு இருக்கிறார்?" என்று கேட்க, நாரதரும், நாராயணன் ஒர் ஊசியின் காதுவழியாக யானையை நுழைத்துக்கொண்டு இருப்பதை பார்த்தாகச் சொல்கிறார். அதற்கு அந்த செல்வந்தர் "அது எப்படி முடியும்? இது என்ன நடக்கிற காரியமா?" என்று கேட்டார்.

நாரதர் அடுத்தது அந்தச் செருப்புத் தொழிலாளியைப் பார்க்கச் சென்றார்.

அவரிடமும் இதே சம்பாஷணை நடைபெற்றது. ஆனால் கடைசி பதிலுக்கு அந்தச் செருப்புத் தைக்கும் தொழிலாளி, "இதில் என்ன விந்தை? ஒரு பெரிய ஆலமரத்தை சின்ன விதையில் அடக்கியவர், பிரபஞ்சத்தை தன் வாயில் காண்பித்தவர், அவருக்கு யானையை ஊசியில் நுழைப்பது என்ன பெரிய விஷயமா?" என்று பதில் சொன்னார்.

அவர்கள் இருவரும் சொன்ன பதிலை நாராயணனிடம் வந்து சொன்னார் நாரதர். கடவுள் பக்தி என்பது, பூஜை, புனஸ்காரங்கள் செய்வது மட்டுமில்லை.

இறைவனின் பாதத்தை பூரண நம்பிக்கையுடன், நீயே சரணம் என்று பற்றுவதே "உண்மையான பக்தி" இப்பொழுது தெரிகிறதா? ஏழையின் நிம்மதிக்கு காரணம் என்று பதிலளித்தார் நாராயணன்.

The Prime Minister of the Tang Dynasty was a national hero for his success as both a statesman and military leader. But despite his fame, power, and wealth, he considered himself a humble and devout Buddhist. Often he visited his favorite Zen master to study under him, and they seemed to get along very well. The fact that he was prime minister apparently had no effect on their relationship, which seemed to be simply one of a revered master and respectful student.

One day, during his usual visit, the Prime Minister asked the master, "Your Reverence, what is egotism according to Buddhism?" The master's face turned red, and in a very condescending and insulting tone of voice, he shot back, "What kind of stupid question is that!?"

This unexpected response so shocked the Prime Minister that he became sullen and angry. The Zen master then smiled and said, "THIS, Your Excellency, is egotism."

When I was in Indore on my official duties, one day my Client's Mother expired at an old age and I had to attend the funeral rites.

 

My client has Two sisters, one stationed at Ratlam, and the other in Bombay. Immediately he got in touch with his sister in Ratlam and they could reach quickly, as it is a very near place from Indore.

 

The other sister residing at Bombay, was also contacted on telephone but unfornunately he got a message that all of them had gone to Shirdi for Baba's darshan and were expected after a couple of days. Since, there were no hopes of contacting them at Shirdi, they were planning for the funeral rites.

 

At about 11.00 a.m. when everything was ready, suddenly an auto-rikshaw reached the house, in which the eldest daughter of the old lady, her husband and children were there.

 

It was great shock for the family that arrived from Shirdi, who were not expected to see the face of the old lady. This was big surprise for the big gathering.

 

You know who has done this big follow-up? It is none else than our Lord Sainath from the Samadhi at Shirdi.

 

I had made enquiries with the eldest daughter of the old lady who died, as to how they could drop in at Indore. She said that after compleating Baba's darshan at Shirdi, they were planning to return to Bombay, but she had a vision of Lord Sai Baba, who had directed her to go to Indore, to see her ailing mother, as they were half the way to Indore.

 

All the families of Indore, Ratlam and Bombay are the devotees of Lord Sai and they were very grateful to Baba for his good turn.

 

So devotees of Baba, please note that our Lord Sainath is still alive and from the Samadhi at Shirdi, he performs all these miracles.
