Silent Prayer
A father took his small son with him to run some errands. When it was time for lunch, they went to a local restaurant for a bite to eat. When their lunch was placed on the table, the father reminded the son, "We will have a silent prayer."
The father finished prayer first and waited for the little boy to complete his prayer. But the boy just sat there, his head bowed down and his eyes closed. It was quite a while before he finally looked up.
"That was a long prayer," said the father, "What were you saying to God?"
"How do I know?" said the boy, in all innocence. "It was a silent prayer."
