INSTALLING A PROGRAMME

INSTALLING A PROGRAMME

Customer Service: Can you install Love?

Customer: I can do that, I am not very technical, but I think I’m ready to install now. What do I do?

Service: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart?

Customer: Yes, I have, but there are several programmes running right now. Is it okay to install while they are running?

Service: What programmes are running?

Customer: Let me see… I have PastHurt.exe, LowEsteem.exe, Grudge.exe and Resentment.com running right now.

Service: No problem. Love will automatically erase PastHurt.exe from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programmes. Love will eventually overwrite LowerEsteem.exe with a module of its own, called HighEsteem.exe. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge.exe and Resentment.com. Those programmes prevent Love from installing properly. Can you turn them off?

Customer: I don’t know how to turn them off? Can you tell me how?

Service: My pleasure. Go to your Start Menu and invoke Forgiveness.exe. Do this as many times as necessary until Grude.exe and Resentment.com have been completely erased.

Customer: Okay, I'm done. Love has started installing itself automatically. Is that normal?

Service: Yes it is. You should receive a message that says it will reinstall for the life of your Heart. Do you see the message?

Customer: Yes, I do. Is it completely installed?

Service: Yes, but remember that you have only the base programme. You need to begin connecting to other Hearts to get the upgrades.

Customer: It says “Error 412 – Programme not run on internal components.” What does that mean?

Service: Don’t worry, that’s a common problem. It means that the Love programme is set up to run on external Hearts but has not yet been running on your Heart. You have to ‘love your own before it can love others’.

WHAT’S IN A NAME

WHAT’S IN A NAME

An elderly gent was invited to his old friend's home for dinner one evening. He was impressed by the way his buddy preceded every request to his wife with endearing terms - "Honey," "My Love," "Darling," "Sweetheart," "Pumpkin," etc. The couple had been married almost 70 years and, clearly, they were still very much in love.

While the wife was in the kitchen, the man leaned over and said to his host, "I think it's wonderful that, after all these years, you still call your wife those loving pet names."

The old man hung his head. "I have to tell you the truth," he said. "I forgot her name about 10 years ago."

A Lucrative Wedding
As a new bride, Aunt Edna moved into the small home on her husband's ranch. She put a shoe box on a shelf in her closet and asked her husband NEVER to touch it.

For fifty long years Uncle Jack left the box alone until Aunt Edna was old and dying. One day when he was putting their affairs in order, he found the box again and thought it might hold something important. Opening it, he found two doilies and $82,500 in cash.

He took the box to Aunt Edna and asked about the contents.

"My mother gave me that box the day we married," she explained. "She told me to make a doily to help ease my frustrations every time I got mad at you."

Uncle Jack was very touched that in 50 years she'd only been mad at him twice.

"What's the $82,500 for?" he asked.

"Oh, that's the money I made selling the rest of the doilies."
